Weeds are the bane of every garden... even if you can eat them. (Although I do make an exception for claytonia, aka miner's lettuce, which I found in a corner of my front yard this week. That's a lot of salad greens right there, doing their own thing with no water at all and giving us free food!) Sometimes it can feel like you're growing more weeds than the actual plants you want in your garden. Sometimes you're spending more time than you'd like on your free weekend, battling weeds that pop up in your vegetable beds. And these are the same ways I'm keeping unwanted volunteer plants out of the rest of my yard (though with 1.5 acres, it's a work in progress 😅). And I also have the crazy experience of growing in 2 totally different climates: zone 5 with less than 70 frost-free days in the high desert, and zone 10b on the coast where I was harvesting tomatoes in December (but struggled with powdery mildew in summer). So, I've probably got a solution for you! 😄 P.S. These are the 9 strategies I use to keep weeds out of my garden. P.P.S. Don't miss these Memorial Day sales:
