Garden Betty

things I use all the time in my garden 🌱

I'm deviating from my usual newsletter format to bring you the scoop on some great deals going on. (Because we all like to save money in the garden, right?)

Maybe you've heard: Amazon just launched its Big Spring Sale and it's SEVEN full days of deals across all categories from March 24–31. (They usually do a big sale like this once per season, but this is the first time they're running it this long.)

I know people have varying opinions about buying on Amazon, but if you still have a Prime membership (or want to start a 30-day free trial just to take advantage of the sale this week), I've put together a list of deals that are too good to pass up.

These deals are different from many of the other ones you're probably seeing in your news feed because they're all items I actually own, use, and love.

You can find the full list on my Amazon storefront, but here are a few of my top picks:

  • Seedling heat mat - The same one I use is on sale! This is the trick to getting your seeds to germinate faster indoors. (23% off)
  • Fireman's nozzle - The best and sturdiest garden hose nozzle I've ever used. I pair it with these solid brass quick connectors. (15% off)
  • 2-gallon watering can - I bought this last year and it's my favorite watering can. Heavy duty yet lightweight, easy to fill, comes with 2 handles and a detachable spout. (15% off)
  • 17" tall metal raised bed - I love how configurable this raised bed kit is to make whatever size and shape you need for your space. (15% off)
  • Metal garden supports - I use these to hold up (or hold in) some of my tall-stemmed or bushy flowers and herbs. (35% off)
  • Shade cloth - Shade cloth is essential in summer if you want your tomatoes to keep producing once temps exceed 85°F. (22% off)
  • Garden dump cart - I have multiple carts around the yard but love this one because of its quick dump feature! It's easier to use than a wheelbarrow, especially for very heavy loads. (35% off)
  • Waterproof all-season doormat - We keep a few of these mats outside our front, back, and garage doors to keep mud and dirt out of our home. (48% off)
  • Baby chick brooder plate - If you're looking to raise baby chicks this season, I highly recommend using a (much safer) radiant heat plate over the traditional red heat lamp. (15% off)

Pro tip: Check your "Saved for later" list to see if anything is on sale.

Hope you score some good stuff!

P.S. If you're not an Amazon Prime member yet, sign up here for a free 30-day trial and take advantage of the Big Spring Sale happening through March 31.
